Well, Thursday was Addie's appointment for her one year old pictures. We were worried that she wouldn't do well since she was having serious separation anxiety at daycare this week which also carried over to home. But, despite our concerns, she did great!! She played with the props and smiled for the camera. She had fun with the photographer and her husband who is there to help with Addie while I was behind the photographer trying to get Addie to smile and look towards the camera. I cannot wait to see the proofs!!
Friday, it was back to daycare and another day that I cried. Some of you reading this will think it's silly but it was heartbreaking to give Addie to her teacher and watch try to break free of the teacher's hold, red-faced and screaming, with her arms outstretched. As I walked out of the main door of the daycare, I could still hear her screaming. I just pictured her crying all day like she did on Wednesday. I made it outside but then fell apart. I called to check on her in the morning and they said she was having a better day. She played and participated in activities and was only tearful a little. Hopefully the worst is over. Tomorrow starts week 2.
