Addison went to the doctor for her 15 month check up and shots yesterday. She is 25 lbs and 32 7/8 inches tall. According to the growth charts, she is the height of the average 22 month old. She is very tall!
She loves to climb on anything she can. Thursday night she was climbing onto Olivia's bed and bumped her head on the foot board. That resulted in a lump and bruise in the middle of her forehead. Yesterday evening, she was climbing on the kitchen chairs. She was sitting on one but somehow she fell off and smacked her face on the table leg. To add to the bruise on her forehead, she has a swollen and black and blue right eye. Shortly after recovering from that traumatic incident, she was tired and she was walking through the living room and tripped over her own feet. No lump or bruise from this fall. Instead, she scraped her cheek on a Halloween decoration in the living room. The poor girl is all banged and scraped up on her sweet, little face. We're thinking about putting bubble wrap on everything in the house so she can heal from these bruises before getting any more.
Interesting fact: I looked back at Olivia's baby book and at 15 months, she was 32 1/2 inches (3/8 in shorter than Addie) tall and weighed 25 lbs. Almost identical!
